The Brief

When the Achievers team contacted Firefly Merchandise, they were looking for a branded jacket that could bring warmth, style, and team spirit to the events they were holding across the UK.

A valued client of Firefly since 2021, they first reached out looking for care packages to send to their global team after the COVID-19 lockdown. Over the years, they have trusted Firefly with a wide range of merchandise needs – from teddy bears to notebooks, and umbrellas to thermos cups – so, they knew they were in safe hands with this latest request.

Our Solution

Firefly Merchandise dove headfirst into the challenge, scouring options for the perfect item before coming across the varsity jacket. The design of the jacket not only matched their style but also reflected Achievers’ brand colours.

The response was instant with Field Marketing Manager, Laura, stating she loved it before immediately placing a small trial run to test the water, eager to see how the jackets would perform at events.

It wasn’t long before the trial run paid off. The branded varsity jackets not only hit the mark but exceeded all expectations. The Achievers’ team were instantly recognisable at events, and the tremendously positive reaction fuelled even greater ambitions for their branded merchandise.

The next step? A major order of 500 units, with plans to use the jackets at events in the US too! To add even more impact, Achievers incorporated on-site personalisation into their campaign. They brought printers to events, customising the jackets with individual initials on the spot. This turned the jackets into a personal keepsake for their team and attendees alike, creating deeper connections and leaving a lasting impression.
