Learn how we helped leisure and events company Hobbs of Henley produce a brand new organic cotton branded merchandise collection.
“Carol has great knowledge of all her merchandise and suppliers recommending ones that really fit your requirement.”
Hobbs of Henley was founded in 1870 and today is still family-owned, operating the largest fleet of boats anywhere on the Thames. Steeped in river history, they offer a vast array of activities on the river with their self-drive boats, New Orleans steamboat and chauffeured launches. In addition, they produce their very own Mr Hobbs Gin. Cruising and Gin – what more could you want!?
Suzy Hobbs, Co-Founder of Mr Hobbs Gin and Business Development Manager at Hobbs of Henley, asked Firefly for help with their brand-new bespoke clothing range. They saw an opportunity to grow their product range to include exceptional quality t-shirts and hoodies designed with the business, river and town in mind. Furthermore, the company pledged to donate £1 from the sale of each garment to The River Thames Society to give something back to the river environment and community they serve.
Only top quality recycled and organic materials would suffice, which of course, is right up our street. Or should we say river?!
As with all of your customers, we carefully listen to understand the exact requirements of the brief. Our customer-focused, honest, and transparent approach ensures maximum results through branded merchandise.
When it comes to quality organic cotton clothing, we call upon our handpicked supply chain. We only partner with companies who share our eco-friendly aspirations and guarantee consistency of service, value and price.
Working closely with Suzy to bring her brief to life, we presented various options with design mock-ups and product samples. The team at Hobbs of Henley trusted us completely to guide them through the variety of choices. We were always on hand to advise about the many nuances of eco-credentials. With a few concept tweaks, the final decisions were made, designs produced, and orders placed.
The goods were turned around in record time within three weeks, ready to launch during the bustling summer season in Henley. Their clothing not only looks fantastic, but it also feels gorgeously comfy. Suzy and the Hobbs of Henley team have received rave reviews from their customers, and we expect there to be plenty of reorders in the future.
