The Customer

Phyllis Court Club is a prestigious private members club based on the banks of the river in Henley on Thames. It is set in a grand riverside manor. Established in 1906 it has a lot of history.

Not only does it provide state of the art sports facilities, but it has dining areas, meeting rooms and versatile function rooms. The club provides a way of life for its members, the gym facilities are new and encompass a swimming pool, fitness room, personal training sessions and various classes as well as beautiful tennis courts.

The Brief

Charlotte Hughes, Sports & Fitness Facilities Manager requested the help of Firefly to put together a selection of branded merchandise which would appeal to their members and fit in with the style and quality of the club. They saw the value in extending their brand by providing their members with a selection of branded products they could purchase. These items included sports bottles, thermos cups, umbrellas, a variety of branded clothing, caps, sun visors and even a collector’s item branded teddy bear.

The products had to be top quality and show sustainability and recycled materials where possible which is exactly what we do at Firefly.

Our Solution

Now that we can go back to face-to-face meetings, we went to visit Charlotte to discuss the merchandise and really think about how the look and feel should be. We wanted to see the environment the products would sit to make sure they would fit the brand. It was important to find the right products to fit the space and the style.

Charlotte and Firefly went through various options until a wide selection was chosen. Samples were sent for viewing while product visuals with the design were produced. On receipt of samples and design approvals, the orders were placed, and production began. Charlotte knew exactly what she was looking for which made working with her exciting.

As there were multiple items on the order, some goods were delivered quicker than others but within a few weeks, all items were received and put up on display in time for the Christmas period.

We went back to visit sometime after and were thrilled to see how beautiful the display was.
